Ginger Cookies

 



Preparation time: 45 minutos

Ingredients for 30 cookies

Advices

·         Before placing the decorations, let the cookies cool.

·         Before baking the cookies, cool the dough.

·         In case you want to give them frosting, don't throw too much at them! 

 

Ingredients

·         4 cups flour

·         1 tablespoon baking powder

·         1 teaspoon ground ginger

·         2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

·         ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

·         A cup of butter at room temperature

·         A cup of brown sugar

·         ½ cup of honey

·         A big egg  

Instructions 

 First, we mix the dry ingredients.

Second, we beat the butter and sugar until they dissolve.

Then, we incorporate the honey, the egg and the flour with the spices.

 After that the mixture has to be as homogeneous as possible.

 Later reserve in the fridge for 2 to 6 hours and remove before using.

 Next you have to shape them on the baking paper so that it doesn´t transfer.

To continue, bake the large pieces at 180º for 15 minutes and the small pieces 8 minutes.

And finally, decorate your cookies!
